Abstract

A flexible, flat laminar element (1), configured to be shaped so as to define a pot and comprising: a central element (3) of circular shape corresponding to the bottom (Vf) of the pot (V) and at least two side appendages (5; 6) corresponding to the side surface (Ve) of the pot (V), each of which is delimited by a curved lower edge (5a; 6a), a curved upper edge (5e; 6e) and two side edges (5g; 6g) which are placed in contact with each other when the side appendages (5; 6) are raised with respect to the central element (3) and curved. The method for making the pot (V) involves the use of a press (14) and comprises the following operations: positioning the flexible, flat laminar element (1) between a punch (12) and a die (13), penetrating the punch (12) in the die (13) to shape the side surface (Ve) of the pot (V), compressing the bottom (12b) of the punch (12) against a shaping unit (15) to shape the bottom (Vf) of the pot (V), extracting the punch (12) from the die (13) and withdrawing the pot (V).

Abstract

The machine (2) for removal and extraction of a lid (L) for paint containers or cans (C) comprises: a centering element (3), adapted to allow properly aligning the machine (2) above the container or can (C); a gripping device (6) adapted to selectively act upon at least two points of a lid (L) of the container (C), being capable of both disengaging the lid (L) from the container (C) and holding the same lid (L); a first moving device (5) adapted to move said gripping device (6) along a vertical axis (Z), between at least one first position, proximal to said centering element (3), and at least one second position, away from said centering element (3); and a support structure (4), fixed to said centering element (3), adapted to support said first moving device (5). The gripping device (6) being adapted to take a first operating configuration, wherein it does not act upon said lid, and a second operating configuration, wherein it is adapted to act upon a protruding portion of the lid (L). The centering element (3) comprises an abutment portion (32) adapted to abut against an upper edge of the outer wall of the container (C), and is adapted to prevent the container (C) from moving, without exerting any pressure force upon said edge, in any operating configuration or spatial arrangement of the gripping device (6).
