Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for producing a display object (150) on the basis of photographic image data which a user (10) transmits in digital form via the internet (20) to a provided database (15). The display object (150) to be produced comprises a transparent or translucent glass substrate (60), on which is arranged a colour layer (160) which constitutes the image object (40) and comprises a plurality of pixels. The invention further relates to such a display object (150), to a group of such display objects (150) and to an internet-based system (1) for producing such display objects (150).
