The laundry detergent bar deliver superior sensory properties such as lather, bar feel, skin feel, colour of the bar, without altering the processability and physical properties of the bar.

Abstract

The present invention is in the field of cleaning compositions. It relates to a unit dose tablet providing a liquid cleaning composition on dissolution in water. There is a need for an improved tablet containing significantly high amount of detersive active, which is hard, yet dissolves fast in contact with water. The present invention provides a tablet comprising 5 to 80 % by weight of a surfactant selected from anionic surfactant, non-ionic surfactant and combinations thereof; a hydrotrope comprising an alkyl aryl sulphonate having C1 to C5 alkyl chain; and select disintegrants, wherein the surfactant comprises at least an anionic surfactant being alkyl cocoyl taurate. The tablet disintegrates quickly in contact with water, thereby provides a liquid cleaning composition. The present invention further provides a process for obtaining a hard surface cleaner and a method for cleaning a surface.

Abstract

The present invention is in the field of laundry cleaning compositions. In particular, it relates to a stable laundry cleaning composition that provides efficient cleaning in a shorter wash cycle and less amount of water. There is still a need for an improved stable laundry cleaning composition for cleaning laundry loads with ease. It is desired that such composition provides cleaning in a shorter washing cycle with reduced amount of water. It has been found that a poly-oxyethylene sorbitan alkyl ester having specific HLB values along with a solvent mix, an anionic surfactant and an alkoxylated alkanol provides a stable laundry cleaning composition, wherein the composition provides efficient cleaning in a single wash or rinsing cycle. The composition remains stable under various storage conditions.

The invention relates to a water purification device comprising a source of light. Some water purifiers contain a chamber for storing purified water. However, over a period, bacteria and other microbes tend to grow in it. Over a period, standing water may get recontaminated and may not remain as fit for consumption.
