The present inventors have found that when a solid detergent composition includes an agglomerate particle having a surfactant, silica, and alkali metal silicate then the composition provides an agglomerate detergent particle which has low bulk density having good powder sensorial. The powder is free flowing and maintains its free-flowing properties and is anticaking over extended storage periods. The agglomerate particle also has good powder color.
