More specifically to a sterilizing process designed to be used in an aseptic process that comprises the steps of transferring said food composition into a heating unit; passing an electric current through said composition; maintaining a power to mass flow rate range through said heating unit from about 125 kJoules/kg to about 750 kJoules/kg; adjusting a flow rate to maintain said food composition temperature exiting the heating unit from about 75°C to about 175°C; and cooling said food composition to a final temperature from about 5°C to 100°C.

The present invention is a pet container that has a base (2) having at least two legs (3, 4). The container has a tip angle of from about 10° to about 50°.
The process of the present invention comprises an animal food composition that is fed to animals and is pro-nutritional, and is convenient to the pet owner. When the pet owner feeds the animal food composition to the animal, the ingested composition promotes a healthy body weight in the animal and is palatable to the animal, provides a highly effective nutritional aid, promotes a means for controlling fecal hair excretion, controlling oral hair excretion, trichobezoar formation, and satiety in an animal. The animal food composition contains a nut shell.

Disclosed herein are pet food compositions exhibiting a defined Maximum Relaxation Force and Maximum Relaxation Stress. The pet food compositions exhibit prolonged chew time by the pet. In optional embodiments, the pet food compositions comprise one or more of water, humectant, a grain source, or a cross-linking agent.
