Abstract

According to a non-contact image-based blood pressure measurement method and system based on advanced visual intelligence proposed in the present invention, a neural network is trained with an image sequence captured by a webcam in a non-contact manner to generate a blood pressure measurement model, and the blood pressure of a measurement subject is measured using the blood pressure measurement model. Therefore, since the webcam with which a moving image, that is, an image sequence, is captured in a non-contact manner is used, the blood pressure can be continuously estimated while capturing images with the webcam without contact with a device or another person. Moreover, since the blood pressure is estimated from a subject merely being in front of the webcam, the present invention is highly usable and inexpensive, and sufficient precision can be attained using a neural network algorithm.

According to an energy-efficient pupil tracking method and device based on the simplification of a cascade regression forest proposed in the present invention, a lightweight cascade coarse-to-fine regression forest (CCD-RF) is generated by applying a rule distillation according to feature importance-based rule contribution to an initial CCD-RF which is composed of a cascade multilayer using a plurality of regression forests and has been trained on pupil position using a coarse-to-fine method, and the lightweight CCD-RF is used to predict pupil position from an image. Thus, the number of parameters and the amount of calculations can be reduced and energy consumption can be minimized while maintaining strong performance through the removal of unnecessary rules.

Abstract

According to a virtual hand illusion system for treatment of hemiplegia patients by using brain stimuli and an operation method therefor, proposed in the present invention, a head mounted display (HMD) device is used in combination with conventional mirror therapy to allow the user to enter a flow state in a virtual reality (VR) or augmented/mixed reality (MR) circumstance and to undergo rehabilitation in more comfortable postures, thereby maximizing the effect of misunderstanding the motion of a non-paralyzed limb as that of a paralyzed limb and throwing brain cognitive function into confusion to reduce pain that may be generated during rehabilitation. In this condition, the patient is subjected to rehabilitation while seeing only motion images on the display without looking his or her real paralyzed limb.
