Abstract

The present invention relates to: a chromene-benzimidazole derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and a composition for preventing or treating cancer, the composition containing said derivative as an active ingredient. The chromene-benzimidazole derivative of the present invention is activated in cancer cells to inhibit tubulin polymerization, and suppresses the C-terminal domain of Hsp90, and thus can arrest the cell cycle of the cancer cells and induce apoptosis as well as inhibit the activity of oncoproteins when administered to a subject. Therefore, the chromene-benzimidazole derivative of the present invention can be used as a new dual-target anticancer drug for preventing or treating cancer, preferably for preventing or treating triple-negative breast cancer.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a quinazoline-benzimidazole derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and a composition comprising the derivative as an active ingredient for preventing or treating cancer. The quinazoline-benzimidazole derivative of the present invention is activated in cancer cells to inhibit tubulin polymerization and tyrosine kinase activity of the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). Upon administration to a subject, the derivative can arrest the cell cycle of cancer cells, induce apoptosis, and block cell growth signals transmitted via the HER2 receptor. Therefore, the derivative can be used as a dual-target anticancer drug for the prevention or treatment of cancer, particularly HER2-positive breast cancer or triple-negative breast cancer.

Abstract

The present invention provides a linker having a net or cage structure, the structure of which is modified by a biomarker operating under a biphasic system consisting of a water layer and an oil layer. The linker is structurally modified in the presence of a biomarker to release a phase-shift probe contained therein, and the released phase-shift probe can be detected in the oil layer. In detection of the biomarker under the biphasic system using the linker of the present invention, the recognition of a target and the detection of a signal by the recognition are separated into the water layer and the oil layer, and thus the target can be detected with high accuracy. In addition, the system of the present invention does not require pretreatment of a sample, and thus can rapidly and accurately detect a quantitative biomarker with high sensitivity without expensive equipment and expertise required for pretreatment of a clinical specimen.

Abstract

The present invention relates to an intravenous fluid stand that can be connected to an escalator, the intravenous fluid stand comprising: a body extending in the up-down direction; wheels provided at the bottom of the body; and a coupling mechanism coupled to the body, wherein the coupling mechanism includes: a clamp formed near one side and detachably connected to a handrail of the escalator; and a connection assembly formed on the other side and connecting the intravenous fluid stand and the clamp. The clamp is coupled to the handrail during the course of loading the intravenous fluid stand onto the escalator, and is decoupled during the course of unloading the intravenous fluid stand from the escalator. The intravenous fluid stand is coupled to the handrail of the escalator such that the body of the intravenous fluid stand moves along with the handrail while at least a portion of the wheels are positioned on a footplate, and thus the intravenous fluid stand can be fixed on the escalator. The intravenous fluid stand is made to tilt rearward by a certain angle when coupled to the escalator. As a result, the wheels do not become caught when the intravenous fluid stand advances from the footplate to a landing plate while a patient is getting off the escalator, and the intravenous fluid stand is fixed when on the escalator, and thus stability may be improved.

Abstract

Provided are Fc variants having improved half-life by binding to and unbinding from FcRn in a pH-dependent manner, which have improved capacity to selectively bind to Fcγ receptors. The human Fc domain variants have lower capacity to bind to immune-inhibiting receptor FcγRIIb and have higher capacity to bind to immune activating receptor FcγRIIIa (increased A/I ratio) than a wild-type human antibody Fc domain and conventional antibodies approved as antibody therapeutic agents, thereby having remarkably improved ADCC induction ability and having maximized half-life in blood in which excellent pH-selective FcRn binding and unbinding capacity is exhibited, and thus bind to numerous peptide drug therapeutics having a low half-life and retention time in the body to enable the peptide drug therapeutics to have an increased blood half-life and exhibit long-term drug efficacy, and can maximize the immune mechanism of therapeutic protein drugs to be effectively used as an improved antibody drug.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a POMC-specific antibody and use thereof, and use of Marchf6 for treating metabolic diseases. It has been found that the cytosolic accumulation of POMC, which is an appetite-regulating hormone precursor protein, induces ER stress and ferroptosis, and Marchf6 degrades POMC by directly binding thereto, causing the translocation of POMC into ER. Also, it has been confirmed that a produced POMC-specific antibody can specifically detect POMC accumulated in the cytosol of POMC neurons. Therefore, these can be used for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases associated with POMC accumulation or Marchf6 dysfunction. It has also been found that ER stress and ferroptosis caused by accumulation of POMC in the cytosol are regulated. In particular, it was confirmed in vivo that Marchf6 deficiency in POMC neurons causes metabolic disorders. Therefore, Marchf6 can be effectively used for the prevention or treatment of metabolic diseases, including obesity.
