Abstract

Proposed is a mobile robot utilizing the uncertainty of map matching poses for localization. The mobile robot includes a point cloud sensor which acquires point cloud data through scanning, a matching pose calculation part which applies a pre-registered point cloud map and the point cloud data to a pre-registered scan-map matching algorithm to calculate a map-matching pose of the mobile robot, and an uncertainty estimation part which estimates uncertainty of the map-matching pose on the basis of a probability distribution of a preset pose space around the map-matching pose. Through this, the uncertainty of the map-matching pose is estimated to evaluate the reliability of the map-matching pose, enabling more precise localization.

Abstract

Proposed is an apparatus for separating CO2 gas captured with ammonia gas as an absorbent and the ammonia gas from a capture solution. The apparatus includes cation and anion exchange membranes spaced apart from each other to form a capture channel therebetween for a capture solution flow, cathode and anode current collector plates and their corresponding cation and anode exchange membranes forming cathode and anode channels therebetween, respectively. In the separate channels, basic and acidic solutions flow. Power applied to the collector plates drives ammonium and bicarbonate ions from the capture solution through the membranes, and then the ions convert into ammonia and CO2 gases in a chemical reaction, respectively. Through the power application with the basic and acidic solution flows through the corresponding channels, and a flow-conductive acid/base electrolytic separation method, gas separation without directly adding an acidic or basic solution to a capture solution is possible.

Abstract

This electronic device may comprise at least one processor and a memory that stores instructions. The electronic device may obtain a face parsing plane on the basis of a feature vector for a face region of an input image. Each of first pixels of the face parsing plane may represent a result of classifying each of second pixels of the face region into one of designated face regions. The electronic device may obtain spatial semantic attention through a projection operation between the face parsing plane and a correlation dictionary representing correlations between first words mapped to each of the face regions and second words mapped to each of the face attributes. The electronic device may determine at least one face attribute that the face region has among the face attributes on the basis of the spatial semantic attention.

More specifically, the invention provides a hydrocarbon adsorbent in which the cation composition within the BEA zeolite structure is precisely controlled to enable effective adsorption and oxidation of hydrocarbons emitted during the cold-start period, thereby improving hydrothermal stability and maintaining structural integrity under harsh conditions. The hydrocarbon adsorbent according to the present invention exhibits improved hydrothermal stability and maintains excellent hydrocarbon adsorption and desorption performance even after undergoing high-temperature hydrothermal treatment in the presence of moisture.

Abstract

The present invention relates to glycosylated FC variants of which binding affinity for human FcγRs is removed, to minimize off-target toxicity of an antibody against an antigen. Novel human antibody Fc domain variants of the present invention, which were discovered using Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells having a very similar sugar profile to humans, have significantly reduced binding to Fc gamma receptors, compared to wild-type human antibody Fc domain and conventional S228P or S228P/L235E variants, and are variants of which pH-dependent binding affinity for FcRn and thermal stability are maintained and binding affinity for all FcγRs is completely removed. Therefore, the variants can be used to reduce the toxicity and enhance the efficacy of therapeutic protein drugs and to maintain the half-life of diagnostic/research substances and remove target toxicity.

Abstract

Provided is an Fc variant which has improved half-life by binding to and unbinding from FcRn in a pH-dependent manner, and which has improved selective binding to Fcγ receptors. Compared to a wild-type human antibody Fc domain and conventional antibodies approved as antibody therapeutic agents, the present human antibody Fc domain variants have a lower capacity to bind to immune-inhibiting receptors FcγRIIb and FcγRIIIb and have a higher capacity to bind to immune-activating receptor FcγRIIa (increased A/I ratio), thereby having a remarkably improved effector function and having maximized half-life in blood in which excellent pH-selective FcRn binding and unbinding capacity is exhibited, and thus bind to numerous peptide drug therapeutics having short half-life and retention time in the body so that long-term drug efficacy through increased blood half-life can be exhibited, and can maximize the immune mechanism of therapeutic protein drugs.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a parallel drug screening method using ID-microparticles bound to a target. The present invention enables multiple target screening for a specific disease and thus has an advantage whereby costs and time may be saved as much as the number of target types compared to the existing DEL method. In addition, whereas the existing DEL method has a limitation in that a target is fixed to a surface of a solid support, thereby resulting in structural change and a specific direction being hidden, a target encapsulated in a hydrogel or bound to the hydrogel in a random direction may overcome such limitation.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a hydrogel in which a DNA barcode is replicated at high resolution and high density. The hydrogel of the present invention provides, first, a method by means of which gene expression levels can be easily, at high resolution, and further at a relatively low cost, analyzed while maintaining positional information within tissue of cells. Second, high capture efficiency at high resolution can be achieved at low cost for analysis of mRNA or the like. Third, since the hydrogel is formed in a three-dimensional structure, a barcode is generated at high density, thereby enabling achievement of various effects such as achieving high capture efficiency.

Abstract

The present invention relates to the production of a protease-based protein biosensor capable of specifically quantifying methionine sulfoxide present in a target protein and use thereof, and more specifically, to: a recombinant protein for a fluorescent biosensor for quantifying methionine sulfoxide present in a target protein, the recombinant protein comprising a fluorescent protein, a methionine sulfoxide reductase (Msr) protein, an enterokinase cleavage site, a thioredoxin protein, and protein G; a biosensor comprising same; and a method for quantifying methionine sulfoxide in a target protein using same. The biosensor according to the present invention can accurately measure in a quantitative manner the degree of oxidation of methionine residues in a specific protein rather than all proteins through the detection of specific fluorescence changes, and thus can be used as a fluorescent biosensor for diagnosing oxidative stress diseases. Moreover, the biosensor can recognize the degree of aging through the measurement of the degree of oxidation, and thus can be effectively used for diagnosing aging and related diseases.

Abstract

Provided are Fc variants having improved half-life by binding to and unbinding from FcRn in a pH-dependent manner and which have improved selective binding to Fcγ receptors. The human Fc domain variants have lower capacity to bind to immune inhibiting receptor FcγRIIb and have higher capacity to bind to immune activating receptor FcγRIIa (increased A/I ratio) than a wild-type human antibody Fc domain and conventional antibodies approved as antibody therapeutic agents, thereby having remarkably improved ADCP induction ability and having maximized half-life in blood in which excellent pH-selective FcRn binding and unbinding capacity is exhibited, and thus bind to numerous peptide drug therapeutics having a low half-life and retention time in the body to enable the peptide drug therapeutics to have an increased blood half-life and exhibit long-term drug efficacy, and can maximize the immune mechanism of therapeutic protein drugs to be effectively used as an improved antibody drug.

Abstract

The present invention relates to a novel manufacturing method for tafamidis with excellent synthesis yield and cost-effectiveness. More specifically, the invention involves synthesizing tafamidis with a benzoxazole backbone by reacting 4-amino-3-hydroxybenzoic acid and 3,5-dichlorobenzaldehyde to form an imine, followed by oxidation cyclization using a cyanide anion-containing catalyst under basic conditions in air. This method excludes the use of additional oxidizing agents such as conventional metal catalysts and/or high concentrations of oxygen, while minimizing separation processes, resulting in a novel synthesis method for tafamidis with excellent synthesis yields.
