Abstract

A method for producing a fibrous material from lignocellulose from wood, preferably in the form of wood chips. The lignocellulose material is impregnated with a mixture of sodium sulfite and sodium bisulfite and subsequently undergoes a comminution process in a refiner. Additional chemicals from a mixture of sodium sulfite and sodium bisulfite are directly introduced into the refiner, allowing optimal conditions to be set for both additive flows of chemicals such that the process can be operated in an energetically advantageous manner and corrosion and scale formation in the refiner and subsequent aggregates can be prevented as much as possible.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for cross-cutting a material web (1), in particular a pulp web or the like, that is moved in a direction of movement (2), wherein the material web (1) is moved through between two axes of rotation oriented approximately perpendicularly to the direction of movement (2), about which axes of rotation cooperating blades (3, 4) are moved with a rotary movement, said blades (3, 4) cutting the material web (1) approximately perpendicularly to the direction of movement (2) as said material web (1) passes through between the axes of rotation. In order to achieve a high-quality cut edge with little noise pollution and high system availability, the invention provides that, after the material web (1) has been cut, a force is applied to a part of the material web (1) that is carried along with a blade (3, 4) and in particular a part of the material web (1) that bears against a blade (3, 4), in order to separate the material web (1) from the rotary movement of the blade (3, 4). Furthermore, the invention relates to a device for cross-cutting a material web (1) that is moved in a direction of movement (2), having at least two cooperating blades (3, 4), which are rotatable about axes of rotation arranged approximately perpendicularly to the direction of movement (2), wherein the material web (1) is movable through between the axes of rotation, such that the material web (1) is able to be cut by the blades (3, 4) approximately transversely to the direction of movement (2).

Abstract

A method for coiling a metal strip that is heat-treated in a furnace immediately before coiling and fed to a coiler at an outlet speed, and then coiled at the coiler at an elevated temperature. The future outlet speed of the metal strip and the heat losses from the metal strip between the furnace and the coiler are calculated via a predictive model and the furnace is controlled by the predictive model such that the metal strip is coiled at a pre-defined temperature within a maximum deviation of +/−5° C.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a fibrous material from lignocellulose from wood, preferably in the form of wood chips. The lignocellulose material is impregnated with a mixture of sodium sulfite and sodium bisulfite and subsequently undergoes a comminution process in a refiner. The invention is characterized primarily in that additionally chemicals from a mixture of sodium sulfite and sodium bisulfite are directly introduced into the refiner. Thus, optimal conditions can be set for both additive flows of chemicals such that the process can be operated in an energetically advantageous manner and corrosion and scale formation in the refiner and subsequent aggregates can be prevented as much as possible.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for electrolytically pickling metal strips (1), in particular stainless steel strips. In the pickling method (2), the metal strip (1) is descaled in a pickling solution (B) using an electric current, and the used pickling solution (6) enriched with metals is regenerated. The metals dissolved in the pickling acid (6) are separated from the regenerated pickling solution (B) as metal hydroxides (9). According to the invention, the metal hydroxides (9) are dissolved in acid (11) and the resulting metal-containing solution (14) undergoes a pyrohydrolytic treatment, preferably in a spray roasting reactor (15), in order to form metal oxides (16).

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for assessing the hydraulic/mechanical loading of a cellulose web during production. The method is primarily characterized in that, by means of an optical system, a measured variable is formed which describes the level of unevenness or the depths of the furrows in the cellulose web. The invention further relates to a system for carrying out the method, in which an optical system comprising an illumination device (19), a camera (17), and a control system is provided. By using such a method and such a system, the causes of breaks and delaminations of cellulose webs can be detected at an early time and can be counteracted accordingly in order to prevent breaks or delaminations.

Abstract

The subject of the present invention is a method for processing metallized packaging materials, especially beverage cartons, or blister packaging. According to the invention, the aluminum is dissolved with the aid of acid and separated from the plastic. The metal-containing acid solution then undergoes pyrohydrolytic treatment and the acid is thus recovered. The aluminum can be recovered as valuable aluminum oxide.

Abstract

A hydrocyclone with an inflow region providing tangential inflow for a feed slurry and with a separation region following the inflow region with an underflow discharge pipe to carry off heavy materials and with an overflow nozzle in the form of an immersion tube projecting axially into the interior of the hydrocyclone. Another inflow is provided in the area of the tangential inflow to supply the barrier fluid, where the barrier fluid and the feed slurry are separated from one another by a lamella in the hydrocyclone before they are brought together. The separation region includes a conical section and a subsequent cylindrical section above the underflow discharge pipe.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for the dewatering of sludge on a screen, wherein a flocculant is admixed with sludge, whereafter the sludge is at least partially dewatered, the flow behavior of the sludge on the screen being optically detected and the amount of flocculant to be admixed being set according to the free screen surface in a control region. The invention is primarily characterized in that the control region is arranged at a point of the cleaned screen in the inlet area of the sludge, for example at the edge. The invention also relates to a device for the dewatering of sludge, comprising a flocculant feed device and a screen downstream of the flocculant feed device, wherein a device, in particular a camera, is provided for optically detecting the flow behavior of the sludge and is connected via a control system to the flocculant feed device for regulating the amount of flocculant, said device being characterized in that the device (11), in particular the camera, is designed such that it detects a control region in the inlet area (10) of the cleaned screen. In this way, regulation can be achieved for an optimal feed amount of flocculant in a straightforward manner regardless of the material feed and the sludge type.
