Abstract

In order to divide up objects having a random distribution of weights, so as to treat the objects according to their weights, the method comprises the following steps carried out cyclically: detection (40) of an object (Obj); grasping (50) of the detected object by means of a gripper mounted on a robot (Ri) and measurement of the weight (wj) by means of a weight or force sensor placed on the gripper, on the robot or on a member for anchoring the robot; and acquisition (60) of the weight (wj) by associating it with the object (Obj).
