The method includes acid dechromation, obtaining a collagen aggregate, and converting the collagen aggregate to the collagen. The method also includes a reaction in a supercritical carbon dioxide reactor.

A method for improving sanitary performance of figured sea-island superfine fiber synthetic leather is provided. The method is characterized in that it includes the following steps: a) treating a superfine fiber synthetic leather base cloth with a collagen, so as to make the collagen cross link and fix on the superfine fibers in said superfine synthetic leather base cloth; b) making a hydrophilic material infiltrate and adsorb into said superfine fiber synthetic leather base cloth treated with the collagen; c) surface constructing treating said superfine fiber synthetic leather base cloth infiltrated with the hydrophilic material. The hydrophility of the treated superfine fiber surface is equivalent to that of a collagenous fiber of natural leather, so that the permeability to water vapor and the water-absorbing capacity of the synthetic leather are improved. Finally, a coating with micropores is formed on the synthetic leather surface after surface constructing treating, thus integrally improving the permeability to water vapor and the air permeability of the synthetic leather.
