The present invention relates to a composition comprising a skin keratinocyte-derived extracellular matrix as an active ingredient as an active ingredient for the prevention, alleviation, or treatment of cancer. The composition for preventing, alleviating, or treating cancer of the present invention contains an extracellular matrix derived from skin keratinocytes as an active ingredient, thereby significantly reducing only the proliferation of cancer cells without exhibiting side effects such as cytotoxicity in normal cells such as fibroblasts constituting the dermis of normal skin. In addition, the composition for preventing, alleviating, or treating cancer of the present invention was observed to: have the effect of suppressing the proliferation of MDA-MB-231, which cannot be expected to be greatly responsive to targeted therapies and currently lacks effective treatments, in addition to MCF7 among breast cancer cells; be able to remarkably inhibit the proliferation of Caki-1 and Caki-2, which are clear cell carcinomas classified as intractable cancer among kidney cancer cells and known to have many distant metastasis recurrences; and significantly reduce the proliferation of PANC-1, which is a pancreatic cancer cell line classified as refractory cancer that is difficult to detect early among cancer cells and is found in the late stage when surgery and treatment are limited, as well as having low treatment responsiveness to the latest immunotherapy drugs and low treatment responsiveness to targeted therapy and traditional chemotherapy. Furthermore, the composition for preventing, alleviating, or treating cancer of the present invention can be applied not only to breast cancer, kidney cancer, and pancreatic cancer, but also to the treatment of various carcinomas and solid cancers occurring on the skin. Moreover, the composition for preventing, alleviating, or treating cancer of the present invention can be used as a therapeutic agent in combination with other anticancer agents. Additionally, the composition for preventing, alleviating, or treating cancer of the present invention can be used in a treatment method for reducing the size of cancer before surgery without side effects, unlike traditional chemotherapy, through intratumoral injection.

The present invention relates to a composition for the prevention and treatment of ischemic cerebrovascular diseases, including cerebral infarction, the composition comprising gintonin as an active ingredient. Gintonin according to the present invention has the effect of reducing cerebral infarction volume and can increase survival rate after the onset of cerebral infarction, and thus can be effectively used for the prevention and treatment of cerebral infarction. Furthermore, Pro10-1D was identified to exhibit a remarkable anti-inflammatory effect by inhibiting TLR4 downstream, alleviate inflammatory insult in sepsis mouse models, and have a protective effect against organ dysfunction in sepsis mice. Thus, Pro10-1 or Pro10-1D of the present invention can find advantageous applications as a novel peptide antibiotic for effective treatment of sepsis or septic shock.

In a method for producing acetoin, butanediol, or butanol from ethanol according to the present invention, a cell-free catalysis method was used by designing an artificial synthetic pathway so that proteins of NOX, EtDH, FLS, BDH, and DDH and variant proteins thereof exhibit cascade catalytic activity as enzymes. Compared to existing fermentation methods using microorganisms, the production method according to the present invention does not require cell growth and has a short synthetic pathway, a fast reaction rate, high yield and productivity, adjustment of targeted reaction conditions is convenient, and butanol may be effectively produced. Moreover, same may be reused numerous times by fixing the proteins to nano-particles, and are also effective for producing acetoin, butanediol, or butanol, thus being economical. Therefore, the production method may be usefully adopted in the relevant industries requiring acetoin, butanediol, or butanol.

A hair perm forming method using electrolyzed water multiple times or for a predetermined period of time or more of the present invention was revealed to have effects that cause very little damage to the hair to enable repeated treatments, enable perming of damaged hair and blonde hair compared with existing methods, show oxidative power higher than that of hydrogen peroxide, cause less hair damage, suppress dandruff bacteria, and significantly decrease the elution of dyes after perming. Therefore, the hair perm forming method using electrolyzed water multiple times or for a predetermined period of time or more of the present invention can be advantageously used as a method capable of effectively forming a perm without harm to the human body in the field of hair perm forming. In addition, the washing of dyed and permed hair, dyed hair, and bleached hair with electrolyzed water, compared with washing with distilled water, has advantages in that the tensile strength of hair is maintained and the dye loss from the dyed hair is less.
