Abstract

A motor vehicle component has two component parts made of steel with different wall thicknesses, which are arranged at an angle α to one another and are connected by a weld seam. A joining surface at the end portion of the first component part has a bevel produced without cutting. In order to form the bevel, an end portion of an initial blank is formed without cutting. The end portion is then trimmed at the end and an abutment surface is created on the front side of the end portion. Abstract

The disclosure relates to validation of a driving corridor for lateral guidance of a motor vehicle by a driver assistance system. Based on environmental data, a driving corridor with corridor boundaries is determined, the corridor boundaries specifying a first track width for the lateral guidance of the motor vehicle. It is then checked whether there is more than one driving trajectory within the corridor boundaries, by determining whether there is more than one data point along a rear axle of the motor vehicle, each of which is assigned to a different driving trajectory. Based on a result of the determining, the driving corridor is validated and the first track width is used for the lateral guidance of the motor vehicle, or the driving corridor is falsified and a different, second track width is used for the lateral guidance of the motor vehicle.

A system and method for estimating current positions of sensor elements in an array sensor involve providing initial position estimates by an electronic computing device, transmitting a sensor signal into the surroundings, and receiving a reflected signal from at least one calibration target. The system determines the direction of arrival of the reflected signal and analytically estimates the virtual positions of the sensor elements based on this direction and a criterion of smallest residuum. The current positions are then estimated using the virtual positions and initial estimates. The technology further includes a computer program product, a computer-readable storage medium, and an array sensor configured to perform these functions.

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for the continuous production of a battery electrode from an electrode powder mixture, the electrode powder mixture having an active material, a binder material and a conducting additive. A powder mixture is first produced by adding the active material, the binder material and the conducting additive. The powder mixture consisting of the active material, the binder material and the conducting additive is then pretreated using a mixer, during which pretreatment the powder mixture is mixed and homogenised and the binder is fibrillated. The powder mixture is then subjected to continuous impact-intensive comminution in order to form a pulverulent, free-flowing electrode powder mixture. The pulverulent, free-flowing electrode powder mixture that has been produced is then transferred by using a removal opening and by means of pouring and/ or shaking with a desired width and thickness into a calender gap. Here, a film is produced from the electrode powder mixture in the calender gap, by means of shear forces inside the calender gap. This film is then transferred onto a current collector film, compressed to form a film of the desired target thickness and thus processed into a battery electrode.

Abstract

A method for determining an approach of a person toward a transportation vehicle, a computer program, an apparatus, and a system. In response to UWB technology or other radio-based distance systems being used for the Kessy access, the distance information relating to a user is gathered. In response to the access device containing an acceleration sensor, the movement sequence relating to the distance information is analyzed. Abstract

A method for charging or discharging a battery system, wherein the battery system comprises at least two battery cells connected in parallel and/or in series, which can only be charged or discharged together. A voltage is controlled as a control variable by a current or a power as a manipulated variable. The current or the power is specified by taking into account a first state of charge-dependent characteristic curve and a second state of charge-dependent characteristic curve.
