Abstract
Provided is a composition for treating diabetes, including a hypoglycemic agent and a Yukmijihwang-tang extract. More particularly, the hypoglycemic agent is administered into an individual, and the Yukmijihwang-tang extract is administered into the individual, thereby considerably increasing a hypoglycemic effect of the hypoglycemic agent, and preventing and reducing various diabetic complications such as diabetes and diabetic liver damage, renal damage, hyperlipidemia immunosuppression and ocular damage.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition containing a Pinelliae Rhizoma and Scutellariae Radix extract as an active ingredient to reduce side effects caused by an anticancer drug, and more particularly, a composition for reducing side effects such as damage to the gastrointestinal tract and a gastrointestinal motility disorder by administering an anticancer drug. The composition of the present invention has an excellent effect of reducing side effects in administration of the anticancer drug through an antioxidative function, and synthesis, secretion and control of the functions of gastrin and serotonin producing gastrointestinal endocrine cells.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition for promoting proliferation of bone marrow derived stem cells using an angelicae gigantis radix extract, and more particularly, to a composition which administers a granulocyte colony-stimulating factor into an object, and administers the angelicae gigantis radix extract to the object to promote the proliferation of the bone marrow derived stem cells. The composition of the present invention solves side effects such as splenomegaly which were caused by a method of administering only the G-CSF for proliferation and differentiation of the stem cells, thereby significantly mitigating the side effects through co-administration of the angelicae gigantis radix extract, and further promoting the proliferation and the differentiation of the stem cells.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition for promoting the proliferation of stem cells derived from bone marrow using a palmultang extract, and more specifically, to a composition for promoting the proliferation of stem cells derived from bone marrow by administering a granulocyte colony-stimulating factor to a subject and then administering the palmultang extract to the subject. The composition of the present invention remarkably reduces side effects, such as enlargement of the spleen, which are caused by the administration of G-CSF alone for proliferation and differentiation of the stem cells, through administration in combination with the palmultang extract, thereby further promoting the proliferation and differentiation of stem cells.

Abstract
Provided is a composition for enhancing effects of an anticancer agent using an oriental medicine, jaeumganghwa-tang, bojungikgi-tang, or yukmijihwang-tang. More particularly, provided is a composition for treating a neoplastic disease by administering an anticancer agent into an individual, and administering an oriental medicine into the individual within 30 minutes. The composition remarkably reduces side effects occurring when the anticancer agent is administered alone by co-administration of the oriental medicine, reduces cytotoxicity, and has higher anticancer activity than that when the anticancer agent is administered alone.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition containing herbal medicine extracts of Pinellia and Scutellaria, as active ingredients, for reducing side effects due to anticancer drugs, and more specifically, to a composition for reducing side effects, the composition having an effect of reducing side effects, such as gastrointestinal damage and gastrointestinal dyskinesia, caused by administering anticancer drugs. The composition of the present invention has an excellent effect of reducing side effects at the time of administering anticancer drugs, through an antioxidative function, gastrin and serotonin production, and synthesis, secretion, and functional regulation of gastrointestinal endocrine cells.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition for increasing the effect of an anticancer drug using Jaeumganghwatang, Bojungikgitang or Yukmijihwangtang, which are medicinal herb products, and more specifically, to a composition for treating neoplastic diseases by administering an anticancer drug to an individual, and then administering a medicinal herb product to the individual within 30 minutes. The composition of the present invention remarkably alleviates side effects during a single administration of an anticancer drug by using concomitant administration of a medicinal herb product, has low cytotoxicity, and shows higher anticancer activity compared to the single administration of an anticancer drug.

Abstract
The present invention relates to a composition for treating diabetes, containing a hypoglycemic agent and an extract of Yukmijihwangtang (a soup of six different medicinal herbs). More specifically, the composition remarkably improves a hypoglycemic effect of a hypoglycemic agent by administering the hypoglycemic agent to an individual and administering an extract of Yukmijihwangtang to the individual, and prevents and alleviates diabetes and various diabetic complications such as diabetic liver damage, kidney damage, hyperlipidemia, immunosuppression, eye damage and the like.
